Riverbend at Lake Lure is an absolutely wonderful community which has the Broad River flowing through,
just below Lake Lure. Just inside its Main Gate is a natural, almost horseshoe shaped, bend in the Broad River. Very lovely area there with trails and river access. You’ve got to check out the “Old Swimming Hole” and take a dip! Within the community are multiple lakes with beaches, pavilions, and community center to explore. Both Upper and Lower Hickory Nut Lake are accessible to all residents and offer the ability to enjoy paddle sports, swimming, fishing, or just laying out on the beach by the shore. Lot 284 on Oriole Drive is a neat lot! Topographically it is not steep and has lots of choices for building spots!
