This 13.3 ± acre private wooded homesite in Lookout Pointe offers sweeping, layered long-range mountain views, a year-round creek, and true privacy in Madison County, NC, just over 30 minutes from the west side of Asheville. The terrain is steep overall, allowing for the breathtaking viewshed, and its natural woodland has many old logging roads that make great walking trails. The building area sits at roughly 3, 700 feet, just below the road, where the ground levels out slightly to build for long-range views south over Sandymush and layered Blue Ridge peaks. Views are seasonal now, but selective clearing could open them year-round. Trails also lead past granite boulders to Little Sandymush Creek, which tumbles over small waterfalls along the western border. A septic permit was previously approved for a 4-bedroom home. It has since expired but shows what is possible on this land. And a Helene caused slope failure along the road has been repaired, making this ready for you to build your vision. This is a rare find for a buyer wanting big views, privacy, and a water feature. A true mountain retreat or forever homesite.
